Experience

  • Naila Moreira is a science journalist, fiction writer, and poet. Her bylines have appeared in The Shoestring, The Daily Hampshire Gazette, The Seattle Times, The Boston Globe and elsewhere, and she has written creative nonfiction for literary platforms including Terrain.org and The Common. Her 2024 middle grade novel The Monarchs of Winghaven is now in paperback, and she is the author of the award-winning poetry chapbook Water Street.
