Procedure
All exams will be self-scheduled and administered through the Clark Science Center. Please read the procedures and plan accordingly.
Warning
No use of outside resources are permitted on the exams. Violations of Academic Integrity will be reported.

Learning how to use version control software is essential to becoming a practicing, collaborative data scientist. The following basic commands are so fundamental that I expect you to be able to use them from memory. There are many resources to learn about them, including the official documentation.
git status
git pull
git push
git checkout
git branch
git log
git fetch
git merge
git restore
Exam 1
- Will take place the weekend of Oct 16–18, 2026
Exam 2 (optional)
- Will take place the weekend of Nov 13–15, 2026
- If you are happy with your score on Exam 1, you do not need to take Exam 2
- The content of Exam 2 will not be the same as the content of Exam 1. However, the questions will be of the same level of difficulty.
